Welcome to ZAR Jewellery. These Terms & Conditions apply to purchases made through zarjewellery.com.
By placing an order with us, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
1. About ZAR Jewellery
ZAR Jewellery is the trading name of Zohreah Azarnoosh, a sole trader operating in the United Kingdom.
Business name: Zohreah Azarnoosh trading as ZAR Jewellery

2. Products
We take care to ensure that all product descriptions, photographs, dimensions, materials and colours displayed on our website are as accurate as possible.
As jewellery is individually made or finished, slight variations in appearance, texture, colour or finish may occur and should not necessarily be considered a defect.
Product photographs may also appear slightly different depending on your screen, device or lighting conditions.
We reserve the right to correct genuine errors in product descriptions, availability or pricing.
3. Jewellery Materials & Hallmarking
Product pages will specify the materials used for each piece where applicable.
Where hallmarking applies, the relevant hallmark information will be provided with the product or in the accompanying documentation.
Customers should review the product description carefully before placing an order, particularly where material, dimensions, gemstone details or sizing are important to the purchase.
4. Orders
When you place an order through our website, you are making an offer to purchase the selected product.
You will receive an order confirmation by email. This confirms that we have received your order but does not necessarily mean that the order has been accepted.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order where:
The product is unavailable
There is an obvious pricing or product description error
We are unable to verify the order
We reasonably suspect fraudulent activity
The order cannot be fulfilled for another legitimate reason
If we cancel an order after payment has been taken, the amount paid for the cancelled order will be refunded.
5. Pricing & Payment
All prices displayed on the website are in GBP (£) unless otherwise stated.
The applicable product price and delivery charges will be displayed before you complete your purchase.
Payment must be successfully received before an order is processed.
We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout.
We reserve the right to correct genuine pricing errors before an order is dispatched. If an obvious pricing error has occurred, we may contact you to confirm whether you wish to proceed at the correct price or cancel the order.
6. Bespoke & Personalised Jewellery
Bespoke and personalised jewellery is created specifically for the customer and therefore requires particular care when ordering.
This includes:
Engraved jewellery
Personalised pieces
Custom-made designs
Jewellery made to specific customer requirements
Non-standard-size rings made specifically at the customer’s request
Jewellery resized or altered at the customer’s request
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, including measurements, sizes, names, initials, dates, engraving details and other personalisation instructions.
Once production of a bespoke or personalised item has commenced, changes or cancellations may not be possible.
Please review all personalisation and sizing information carefully before placing your order.
7. Ring Sizing & Customer Measurements
Customers are responsible for selecting the correct size when placing an order.
If a customer provides an incorrect size or measurement, any subsequent resizing or alteration may incur an additional charge.
Where a ring has been specially made, resized or altered at the customer’s request, it may not be eligible for return due to change of mind.
8. Delivery
Delivery information, estimated processing times and applicable delivery charges are displayed on our website and during checkout.
Some jewellery is made or prepared to order and may therefore require additional processing time.
Orders will be dispatched using the delivery service selected at checkout where applicable.
Once an order has been dispatched, customers will receive available tracking information.
Please ensure that the delivery address provided at checkout is accurate. ZAR Jewellery cannot be responsible for delays or delivery issues caused by an incorrect or incomplete address supplied by the customer.
9. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges
Our Refund, Return and Exchange Policy forms part of these Terms & Conditions.
Please review the policy before placing an order.
Due to the nature and value of jewellery, returned items are carefully inspected before a refund is approved.
Change-of-mind returns must meet the applicable return conditions, including requirements relating to condition, wear, alteration, packaging and return postage.
We do not offer direct exchanges. Customers wishing to purchase a different item should return the original item where eligible and place a new order separately.
10. Jewellery Care & Customer Responsibility
Jewellery should be handled and cared for appropriately.
Customers are responsible for following any care instructions provided with their jewellery.
Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, cosmetics, chlorine, cleaning products, excessive moisture, impact, inappropriate storage or improper handling may damage jewellery or affect its appearance.
Normal signs of wear and changes resulting from improper care, accidents or misuse are not considered manufacturing defects.
Customers should remove jewellery when appropriate, particularly during activities that may expose it to chemicals, impact or excessive moisture.
11. Repairs & Alterations
Please contact ZAR Jewellery before arranging repairs, resizing or alterations with another jeweller where the item may be subject to a fault or other issue.
Unauthorised repairs, alterations or modifications may affect our ability to assess the original condition of an item.
Any resizing, repair or alteration requested by a customer may be subject to an additional charge.
12. Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Items
If an item arrives damaged, faulty or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible with your order number and photographs of the item and packaging.
We may request the item to be returned for inspection before arranging the appropriate solution.
Please do not attempt to repair, resize or modify the item before contacting us.
13. Fraud Prevention & Order Security
To protect our customers and our business, we may carry out reasonable checks on orders and returned jewellery.
We may investigate orders or returns where we reasonably suspect:
Fraudulent activity
Payment abuse
Identity or payment irregularities
Product substitution
Tampering
False or misleading claims
Repeated or abusive use of our returns process
Chargeback abuse
Where appropriate, we may cancel or decline an order and take reasonable steps to protect ZAR Jewellery against fraudulent transactions.
Returned jewellery may be checked against our original order and dispatch records, including design, dimensions, materials, markings, stones, components, engraving and condition.
14. Chargebacks & Payment Disputes
If you have an issue with an order, please contact us first so that we have the opportunity to investigate and resolve the matter.
We retain relevant order, payment, dispatch, delivery and communication records where appropriate.
Where a payment dispute or chargeback is raised, we may provide relevant transaction and delivery information to the payment provider or financial institution handling the dispute.
