Our Warranty
ZAR Jewellery provides support for genuine manufacturing or workmanship issues identified after purchase.

Your order number or proof of purchase
Clear photographs of the jewellery
A description of the issue
Photographs of any relevant damage or affected area
We may ask you to return the item to us for inspection before determining the appropriate solution.
What We May Cover
Depending on the nature of the issue, we may assess problems relating to:
Manufacturing defects
Faulty components
Defective clasps or fittings
Manufacturing-related issues with settings or attachments
Other workmanship issues identified during inspection
Where appropriate, we may offer a repair, replacement or other suitable solution.
What Is Not Covered
Our warranty does not cover damage or deterioration resulting from:
Normal wear and tear
Accidental damage
Impact, crushing or excessive force
Loss or theft
Misuse or improper handling
Exposure to chemicals, perfumes, chlorine or cleaning products
Damage caused by water or excessive moisture where inappropriate for the piece
Scratches, dents or surface damage caused by use
Tarnishing or discolouration resulting from wear or exposure
Damage caused by failure to follow our jewellery care guidance
Unauthorised repairs, resizing, alterations or modifications
Damage caused by another jeweller or third party
Lost stones or components resulting from accidental damage or improper care
Natural changes in appearance resulting from normal use are not considered manufacturing defects.
Repairs & Assessment
All repair requests are assessed individually.
Where a repair is possible, we will advise you of the available options before proceeding.
Some repairs, resizing, replating or restoration work may be subject to a charge, particularly where the issue results from normal wear, accidental damage, customer-requested alteration or misuse.
We will confirm any applicable charge with you before carrying out chargeable work.
Resizing & Alterations
If you require a ring to be resized after purchase, please contact us before arranging any work.
The availability and cost of resizing depends on the design, material, construction and original size of the ring.
Some designs cannot safely be resized.
We do not recommend having ZAR jewellery altered or repaired by another jeweller without contacting us first.
Personalised & Bespoke Jewellery
Bespoke and personalised jewellery is individually made or altered for the customer.
Any concerns regarding a bespoke or personalised piece will be assessed individually based on the agreed design, specifications and condition of the item.
